Strengthening Mental Health Support in Ireland

MENTBEST Training Workshops in Limerick

Level 1 training workshop in Ireland

The Limerick Alliance for Mental Health Support implemented a training workshop for community facilitators on 19th July at City Hall Limerick. The training was attended by community facilitators working in various areas such as, addiction and dual diagnosis, mental health support, psychotherapy, education and the Gardai. This training as part of the MENTBEST project focuses on topics including how to identify depression, provide appropriate support, and effectively signpost individuals at risk of self-harm or suicide.

First level 3 training workshop in Ireland

The Limerick Alliance for Mental Health Support implemented its first training workshop health and mental health professionals on 26th August at the Clayton Hotel, Limerick. The training was attended by health and mental health working in various areas such as, addiction and dual diagnosis, mental health support, youth mental health, social work, paramedicine, psychology and psychotherapy. This training as part of the MENTBEST project focuses on topics including managing patients with depression and suicidal behaviour.
