The MENTBEST project is committed to strengthening mental health across Europe, especially for populations most affected by rapid social, economic, digital and political changes. As the project progresses, several key public deliverables have been produced across different work packages. Together, they lay the scientific, methodological and operational foundations for the COMBINA intervention and the MENTINA digital trial.

Work Package 1 – Mental Health Epidemiology and Interventions
D1.1 – Two Scoping Reviews >
This deliverable synthesises review-level evidence on existing mental health interventions in Europe and maps trends in mental health prevalence and severity. The findings directly inform the development of the COMBINA intervention.
D1.2 – Selected Interventions Report >
D1.2 identifies and prioritises the most effective evidencebased interventions for mental disorders and subclinical symptoms. It integrates expert consultation and valuable insights from individuals with lived experience via the WP7 cocreator network.
D1.3 – Report on Data Collection and Analysis >
This report compiles highquality, culturally sensitive datasets to support longterm monitoring of COMBINA. It also includes analyses of largescale data to address key knowledge gaps, with a specific focus on vulnerable populations.
D1.4 – Publicly Available Data Resource >
D1.4 presents the framework and initial results of a new population survey conducted in Greece to assess mental health needs among vulnerable groups in SouthEast Europe. It offers an adaptable model for future data collection in the region.
Work Package 3 – COMBINA Delivery

Work Package 5 – MENTINA App Development

This report details the establishment of MENTINA trial sites in Denmark, Spain and Germany, including recruitment strategies and study requirements that guide the trial’s operational setup.
