Co-creation in Mental Health Research Webinar

EMHW cartel

As part of the European Mental Health Week celebration happening from 13-19 May 2024, together with our sister projects, we held an interactive discussion about co-creation in mental health research on 15 May 2024, Wednesday at 10AM (CEST).

Over 200 participants consisting of researchers, practitioners, people with lived experiences, association representatives, and policy-makers attended, including co-creation leads and experts of our seven Horizon Europe projects.

“How to get co-creation right in mental health research” tackled some of the most important questions commonly encountered by both the scientific teams and the co-creators.

The expert panelists include Mentbest member Dr. Arlinda Cerga Pashoja, from the Community Centre for Health and Wellbeing team in Tirana, Albania; Dr. Cláudia de Freitas (ADVANCE); Dr. Mel McKendrick (SMILE); Dr. Karthrin Schopf (Reconnected); Dr. Kate Woodcock (ASP-Belong); Dr. Célia Sales (BootStRaP); Dr. Rodrigo Antunes Lima (Improva).

The interactive session gathered valuable inputs both from the panelists and the attendees that will influence and feed into new policies and future research work programmes of the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) – the funding agency of the seven EU projects.
