D1.4 Publicly Available Data Resource

Mentbest Public Deliverable

The purpose of Deliverable 1.4: Publicly available data resource (D1.4), a deliverable of Work Package One: Mental Health Epidemiology and Interventions (WP1), was to carry out a model population survey to address the existing knowledge gap on mental health needs of vulnerable populations in South-East Europe.

The following tasks were carried out:

  • T1.4.1: we first developed a culturally sensitive framework for the collection of new data about mental health via a population-based survey in Greece, which could serve as a future resource that can be adapted and implemented in Albania.
  • T1.4.2: we conducted a cross-sectional population survey in Greece to collect primary data on sociodemographic variables and mental health needs of migrants and older adults in comparison to native, working age adults in the general population.

This report was drafted by the lead of WP1, the South East European Research Center (SEERC; Ana Vivas, Lina Gega and Georgia Pappaioannou) and was reviewed by Reiner Rugulies (NFA) and Ainslie O’Connor (Pintail).
