Deliverable 1.3 – “Report on data collection and analysis” is the third deliverable for Work Package 1 (WP1) – Mental Health Epidemiology and Interventions, which is the first research work package in the overall project, Protecting Mental Health in Times of Change (MENTBEST).
Work Package 1 has the overarching aim of providing evidence-based high-quality information about the effectiveness of existing interventions that address mental health conditions and about mental health challenges due to dramatic social, economic, political or other change with a focus on the five vulnerable populations addressed by MENTBEST (migrants/refugees, older people, younger people, long-term unemployed, and those with mental disorders).
In this third deliverable of WP1 (D1.3), the two overall aims were to 1) develop a resource of existing high-quality, culturally sensitive, large-scale datasets on mental health in order to enable long-term monitoring and evaluation of COMBINA interventions, and 2) analyze data from two large-scale datasets in order to narrow the knowledge gaps identified in D1.1 with regard to the onset and exacerbation of sub-clinical mental health challenges due to dramatic social, economic, political, digital and other change, in (a) the general population and (b) identified vulnerable groups.
